I have been working and living in Edinburgh for nearly five years, having moved up here in 2021 – I am loving living here. Like many practitioners, my journey to becoming a therapist has been through my own healing journey. As a client I have benefitted enormously from doing my own personal work with empathic and skilful practitioners in each of the modalities that I am now trained in and offering to my clients. In my life and work I am as deeply fascinated by human psychology as I am with anatomy and physiology, and I believe deeply that they can never be separated and that we cannot work with one aspect without impacting the other and that they influence each other in ongoing feedback loops.
Being involved in both the worlds of bodywork and counselling/psychotherapy I am aware of the split and rivalry that can sometimes exist between them and I am passionate about bringing these worlds together and seeing what is possible. I am engaged in an ongoing way with the development of my practice via new learnings and the continuation of my own personal work. Besides running a busy private practice, I also enjoy assisting on therapeutic trainings. As such I have supported Somatic Experiencing and Neuro Affective Touch trainings with SOS Internationale and some modules of the Cranio Sacral Therapy training with Body Intellegence. I am now looking forward to assisting and being a session provider at the upcoming London 2026 NARM training.
